Pacific Northwest Oceanographic Research Meeting (PNORM)

The first Pacific Northwest Oceanographic Research Meeting was first convened by the Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans (PISCO) in April 2000. The mission of the meeting is to bring together scientists examining physical oceanographic patterns and processes off the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and northern California. Our objectives are to enable sharing of and discussion about research plans, to facilitate collaborations, and to share information about oceanographic research with an interdisciplinary audience.

Beginning in 2001, PNORM is co-sponsored by PISCO and GLOBEC's Northeast Pacific Program. Future meetings are tentatively scheduled for the first quarter of each year.
