I was PISCO's OSU Science Coordinator and researcher and later become Assistant Professor - Senior Research at the university. I mostly conducted research on rocky shore ecology including 1) extensive biodiversity surveys that were(part of two projects that developed and run, one was related to the impact of coastal parks on biodiversity - funded by Parks and Recreations, the other tested the impact of a cliff slide in southern Oregon on the ecology of the rocky shore. 2) Predation experiments 3) Study of mussel and barnacle recruitment patterns at different scales and their relation to the nearshore oceanography (part of the RIOT team).
